 Application: Agarose-SF is an intermediate melting temperature agarose which provides twice the resolution. DNA fragments, PCR and RT-PCR products differing in size by 2% in the 200-800 bp range by submarine electrophoresis may be resolved. A 200 bp DNA fragment can be separated from 204 bp fragment. Fast running protocols DNA differing in size by 1% may be resolved in as little as 1.5 hrs in a 20cm long horizontal or vertical gel format. Agarose gels (2-4%) approximate the resolution of (4-8%) polyacrylamide gels.
